Content and Moderation Policy
Effective 22 October 2026. Nothing goes live on SwipeSparks without automated checks, and any report gets a decision within 7 business days.
1. What this covers
All content on SwipeSparks: persona profiles, images, and chat messages, whether written by AI, a creator chatting live, or a fan.
2. Prohibited content
The following is never allowed, in images, profiles or chat:
- Anything that depicts, suggests or sexualises a person under 18, including youth-coded looks, roles or language. This leads to immediate removal, a permanent ban, and a report to the authorities.
- Real people: photos, deepfakes, or a real person's name or identity used without verified permission
- Intimate content shared without consent
- Sexual violence, coercion, or sex with someone unable to consent
- Incest or bestiality
- Graphic violence or gore
- Hate speech, or harassment of anyone
- Content that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders
- Offers of escorting, meetings, or illegal goods and services
- Scams, or asking for payment or contact details outside SwipeSparks
- Sharing anyone's personal information
3. Review before publishing
Every persona profile and image is checked before it goes live:
- Automated scans: every upload is checked within seconds: matching against known illegal imagery, a classifier that detects child sexual abuse material including new material, detection of real-person photos, and explicit-content detection that tags explicit images automatically.
- Human review: a trained moderator checks every new persona's profile and cover before its first launch, every image the automated checks flag, a random sample of uploads, and everything that is reported.
- Edits: changes to a live persona's profile go through review before fans see them.
4. Ongoing monitoring
Chat messages, from AI and from creators chatting live, pass automated checks before delivery. The AI is instructed never to produce prohibited content, and explicit content is shown only to fans who have passed the age check. Moderators also review random samples of conversations.
5. Reporting and complaints
Anyone, with or without an account, can report content through the report button on every persona, image and message, or at support@swipesparks.com.
- We acknowledge reports within 24 hours.
- We decide within 7 business days and tell the reporter the outcome.
- Suspected child sexual abuse material is removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.
- Anyone who believes their likeness was used can ask for removal at support@swipesparks.com; we take the content down while we check.
6. Decisions and appeals
When we remove content or restrict an account, we send a statement of reasons: what we did, why, and which rule applied. You can appeal within 6 months in the app or at support@swipesparks.com. A different moderator reviews the appeal and decides within 7 business days. EU users can also go to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under the Digital Services Act.
7. Enforcement
Depending on how serious and repeated a breach is, we remove the content, issue a warning, pause a persona, suspend the account, or close it. Content involving minors or non-consensual material always means permanent closure and a report to the authorities.
8. Records and transparency
We log every moderation decision and publish a yearly transparency report on reports received, actions taken, and how long decisions took.
