How can we help?

Getting started

What is SwipeSparks?

A place to swipe, match and chat with ID-verified creators. You see personas in Discover, like the ones you fancy, and when it's a match the chat opens. Joining and chatting are free.

How do I get a match?

Swipe right (or tap ♥) on a persona you like. Some match straight away, some take a little while. Adding a tip to your like improves your chances, and a tip of 35 credits or more always matches. See Likes, tips and matches.

What do I pay for?

Only for private photos and videos, tips and a Velvet Room membership if you join one. Chatting is free. Every photo or video shows its price before you unlock it, so there are no surprises.

Credits and paying

How do credits work?

You buy credits in packs (or a custom amount) on Buy credits, paying by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto, then spend them inside the app. Your balance is always shown at the top of the screen.

Card payments go through our payment partner, so your statement may show the provider's name (for example MoonPay or Coinbase) instead of SwipeSparks, and some providers ask for a quick ID check the first time.

How do I pay with crypto?

We have a step-by-step guide for people who have never used crypto: How to pay with crypto.

Can I limit how much I spend?

Yes. In Settings → Credits and spending, set a monthly limit. Lowering it works straight away; raising or removing it takes 24 hours, so you have time to think it over.

Can I get a refund?

If an unlocked photo or video doesn't load or isn't what was offered, report it from the chat (the flag icon) and our team will look at it. Refunded credits go back to your balance.

Likes, tips and matches

What does a tip with a like do?

When you like a persona you can add a tip. Small tips raise your chance of a match; 35 credits or more guarantees it. The tip goes to the creator, and they see that you tipped.

Can I tip in a chat?

Yes, use the tip button in any chat. Tips are a thank-you to the creator and never required.

Velvet Room

What is a Velvet Room?

A creator's private space. Members pay a monthly price in credits and see the creator's members-only posts (photos and messages). Joining also gives you a guaranteed match and a Member badge, so the creator sees you first.

Where can I join one?

On the persona's swipe card or profile in Discover, or from the small Velvet pill on their photo when you open their profile in a chat. Winners of the weekly contest can also be joined from the Contest page. Before you join you see their preview posts and the price.

How does renewal work?

Memberships renew every 30 days from your credits. We remind you 3 days before. If you don't have enough credits we try again for 3 days, then the membership ends. Your price stays the same as when you joined.

How do I cancel?

Open Velvet and tap Cancel renewal. You keep access until the days you've paid for end. You can turn it back on any time before that.

Are chat photos included?

No. A membership covers the members-only posts. Private photos in chats are still unlocked separately.

Weekly contest

What is the weekly contest?

Each week has a theme (for example "Cozy Sunday"). Creators enter one photo that fits it, and you'll find all entries under Contest.

How does voting work?

You have one vote per theme and can move it to another entry until the theme ends. Winners are chosen by the SwipeSparks team, and your votes help.

What do winners get?

Winners are featured on the SwipeSparks home page, and you can join a winner's Velvet Room right from the Contest page. Other entries are there to admire and vote for; to match with them, find them in Discover.

Real creators and AI

Are the personas real people?

Profiles with a ✓ Real creator badge are real, ID-verified people showing themselves. Profiles marked AI enhanced are AI characters run by verified creators. Every creator, real or AI, passed an ID check and is an adult.

Who writes the messages?

When a creator is away, some replies are written by AI, and the chat tells you so at the top. Messages marked Live are always written by the creator in person.

Privacy and safety

What do creators see about me?

Your first name, your picture (only after you match) and your messages. Never your email. With Stay anonymous on (Settings), they see "Anonymous fan" instead of your name and picture.

Why do I need an age check?

To see explicit photos and posts, the law requires us to check you're 18 or older. It's a quick ID check that takes about a minute, done once. Your ID isn't shown to creators.

How do I report someone?

Use the flag icon in the chat or on a profile. Our team reviews every report.

How do I delete my account or get my data?

In Settings → Privacy and data you can download everything we store about you, or delete your account.

Still stuck? Write to support@swipesparks.com and we’ll get back to you.
