How to pay with crypto: a simple guide
Paying with crypto sounds technical, but it takes about 10 minutes the first time and a minute after that. Here's the simplest way.
Before you start: one important tip
Don't pay from a crypto exchange account (like Coinbase). Some exchanges don't allow payments to 18+ websites and may close accounts that do. Use a wallet app on your own phone instead: the crypto is yours, and you pay from it directly.
Step 1: install a wallet app
Install a well-known crypto wallet app from the App Store or Google Play, for example Trust Wallet or Exodus. We’re not connected to these apps; any trusted wallet works.
When you set it up, the app shows a recovery phrase (12 or 24 words). Write it on paper and keep it safe. It’s the only way to get your money back if you lose your phone. Never share it with anyone, not even us.
Step 2: buy crypto with your bank card
In the wallet app, tap Buy and pay with your card. Buy a little more than the credit pack you want (about $2–3 extra), because sending costs a small network fee.
Which coin? The easiest:
| Coin | Why |
|---|---|
| Litecoin (LTC) | Easiest: cheap and fast, and the fee is paid from the same coin. |
| USDC on Solana or USDT on Tron (TRC20) | Always worth $1, so the amount never changes. You also need a little SOL (for Solana) or TRX (for Tron) in the wallet to pay the fee. |
Check that the coin you choose appears on our payment page (step 3) before you buy.
Step 3: start the payment on SwipeSparks
- Go to Buy credits and choose a pack.
- Tap Pay with crypto. A payment page opens.
- Choose the same coin and the same network you have in your wallet (for example “LTC”, or “USDT TRC20”).
- The page shows an address, an exact amount and a QR code. Keep this page open.
Step 4: send the payment from your wallet
- In your wallet app, open the coin and tap Send.
- Scan the QR code with the wallet (or copy and paste the address).
- Enter the exact amount shown on the payment page.
- Check, then confirm.
Step 5: wait a few minutes
The credits are added automatically once the network confirms the payment, usually within minutes (Bitcoin can take up to an hour). You can close the page; we’ll notify you.
The 3 mistakes to avoid
- The wrong network. USDT on Tron and USDT on Ethereum are different networks. Always choose the same one on both sides; a payment sent on the wrong network can be lost.
- Sending less than shown. Send the full amount on the payment page; the network fee is added on top by your wallet. A smaller payment isn’t enough to add the credits.
- Paying from an exchange. Use your own wallet app (see the tip at the top).
Questions
Is it safe? Yes. You only ever send crypto to the address on our payment page, and you never share your recovery phrase.
Is it private? Your name isn’t on the payment. Your bank statement shows the purchase of crypto in the wallet app, not SwipeSparks.
Something went wrong? Write to us with the payment ID shown on the payment page, and we’ll sort it out.
